What is a Mini Franchise
This is what happens when gig work meets real ownership.
Meet the Mini Franchise.
Ten years ago, "gig work" was a new category. Drive your own car, be your own boss, work when you want, it changed how millions earn. But it had a ceiling: once you stopped driving, the money stopped.
DSN is the next evolution. It's what happens when you add ownership to that equation.
You're not leaving your job. You're not hiring staff, renting premises or managing inventory. There's no traditional franchise overhead at all.
What you're doing is turning the route you're already paid once for into something that pays you four different ways.
The money you're already leaving on the table
Every stop on your route has a household behind it.
Right now, you're capturing only one income stream from those stops: the delivery fee.
With a DSN franchise, you add three more income streams to the exact same stops, without changing a single thing about how you work.
The first: Household commission. Post a booklet through the front door, a household scans it weeks later and orders, you get paid. That booklet earns whether it's this week or three months from now.
The second: Commercial commission. Every takeaway, garage and salon on your route is already paying to reach local customers. You hand them a leaflet showing them a better way to do it. When they sign up, DSN pays you a monthly commission for as long as they advertise with us.
The third: Franchise sales. When you introduce a driver to DSN, he signs up using your QR code. Once his franchise is trading, you're paid £148 that month. Then £148 the month after. And every month after that, for as long as his franchise runs. Introduce a second driver and you're on £296 a month, because the first one never stopped. A third makes it £444. Every franchise you introduce adds to what's already coming in.
The fourth: Your delivery pay - from your depot, which won’t change and is external to DSN.
Why this is different from a traditional franchise
A franchise usually means: quit your job, invest £30,000, rent a unit, hire staff, carry stock, learn a new business, pray it works.
A Mini Franchise means: don’t leave your job, show up at work tomorrow exactly as you were already planning to.
We find the advertisers. We negotiate the contracts. We print every booklet and leaflet. We run the DSN Portal that tracks every scan back to your QR code. We pay out commissions monthly.
You hand leaflets to other drivers at your depot, and post a booklet at every location you're already stopping at.
That's the whole arrangement.
We build and run the network. You own a piece of it.
